Summit Cyber Group is a Perth cyber security firm. We are Australian-owned, privately held, and deliberately small — because the thing our customers value most is that they are dealing with the people who actually do the work.
Founded in Perth, working across Western Australia
We started in November 2025 with a straightforward idea: mid-market organisations were being sold enterprise security tooling by people who would never have to make it work, and there was room for a firm that did both.
Today we work with organisations across mining and mining services, agriculture, education, government and local government, financial services and health — most of them in Western Australia, most of them between 25 and 1,000 staff. Typically the person we deal with is an IT manager or a security specialist who owns security alongside three other jobs, and who has to justify what they spend to someone who is not technical.
That shapes how we work. Plain explanations, published prices, and a willingness to say when something is not worth buying.

Owen founded Summit Cyber Group after years building and running enterprise security platforms — Splunk environments, detection content, data pipelines and the operational reality of keeping them working.
He is personally involved in every engagement, which is a constraint on how much work the business takes on and a deliberate one. If you are a customer, you have his mobile number.
Engineering and delivery
Our engineers have built and operated security platforms at enterprise scale across Splunk, Check Point, Tenable and Cribl — network engineering, SIEM architecture, detection engineering and data pipeline work.
